Changes to the ecoENERGY for Renewable Heat program

Natural Resources Canada has made a significant change to the maximum per-project payment allowed by the Commercial Deployment Incentive under the ecoEnergy for Renewable Heat program.

The program’s maximum payment for solar hot water projects will increase from $80,000 to $400,000. This will allow the ecoEnergy for Renewable Heat program to contribute to larger infrastructure projects while stimulating economic activity across all regions.

This change will be effective on March 1^st 2009, and will be reflected in the Terms and Conditions listed on our website. Please note that it will apply to all in-coming applications only.
